In St Ambrose Catholic Primary School we have 43 EAL children this year. The languages spoken in our school are:

All EAL children are regularly assessed against NASSEA steps. Our school provides one to one help if required, to develop children’s understanding of English and ensure all EAL children make expected progress in all school subjects. St Ambrose Catholic Primary School promotes celebrating various traditions and cultures as well as speaking mother tongue at home.
